A period Grade 2 Listed property where we undertook major Refurbishment and Structural Alteration works, in order to bring the property back up to its former glory. For this project, we provided a complete design and build service, as well as general liaising with Chigwell Parish Council who were involved in overseeing general detailing and construction processes in line with Listed Building Consent. Structural works involved raising of Timber floors to reinstate back to a satisfactory level, and partial rebuild of timber frame where damaged components had failed over the years and required replacement. With contemporary kitchens and bathrooms, the refurbishment was finished to a higher standard. Externally the property benefitted from new landscaping and cladding, as well as full repointing to the front and side elevation creating a fresh curb appeal.
